February Club Meeting
(Schedule Change)
and
Pot Luck Dinner
The next MCARC
Monthly Meeting, normally on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, is now
scheduled for Saturday, February 13th, at 6
PM at the Plain City Firehouse. Instead of the regular
meeting, we will be hosting a pot-luck dinner for all members and
guests. The Club will be providing the meat and table service, so
plan on bringing a side dish or desert, and your own beverages.
Doris LeFavour - WB8KDY is coordinating the event, so email Doris at modelh@juno.com
and tell her what you are planning on bringing, and how many will be
attending.
Severe Weather Spotter Training
The National Weather Service, Madison County EMA and the Madison County
Amateur Radio Club are hosting a Severe Weather Spotter Training at the
Emergency Management office, located at 271 Elm Street in London. This
training will be held on Thursday, February 18th, 2010, at 6:30 p.m.
Participants will learn their role as a weather spotter as well as,
important safety information, how to identify warning signs of severe
weather and where to report information on severe weather. The training
is FREE!

852-4200 and leave a message with your name and contact information.

club breakfast will be on Saturday morning
February 27th, 9 AM, at the Der
Dutchman Restaurant in Plain City. Complete details will

The club 2 meter Get Together Net
is held each Tuesday evening at 8 PM on the 147.285 repeater.
All amateurs are welcome and encouraged to check in and join us for
