June 2006 at the Madison County Sheriff's Department Emergency Operation and Communications Center
Field Day 2006 was the fourth for the Madison County ARC.  It took place in the new Emergency Communications van owned by the Madison County Sheriff's Department. It enabled us once again to operate as an F class station. The club changed its F class from 2F to 3F  A club total of 3,338 points were collected.
The 2006 results from ARRL indicate that the Madison County Amateur Radio Club took FIRST place in the Great Lakes ARRL Section in class 3F M2.  The club was in 6th place in class 3F M2 nationally !  For only the fourth year doing Field Day this is certainly a great accomplishment of the club.
