Welcome to the Madison County Amateur Radio Club website.  A mission of the club is to promote amateur radio by way of educational programming and activities.  MCARC is an affiliated club with the ARRL.  Membership in the club is open to all qualified amateur radio operators whether they belong to the ARRL or not.  MCARC also provides the KE8RV Memorial Repeater (147.285) as an open repeater.  It's located in London, Ohio with three additional remote receive sites throughout the county.

September 2008 Meeting

The next monthly MCARC meeting will be on Wednesday, September 10th, at 7 PM  at the Perkins Restaurant in London.  This will be our quarterly business meeting.  The pre-meeting dinner will be at the Perkins restaurant beginning at 5:45pm.

Upcoming Events

The monthly Club Breakfast will be on Saturday, August 23th at 9 AM at the Country Table Restaurant  in West Jefferson.  Talk-in on the 147.285 Repeater.

As usual, the MCARC will be providing communications for the Ox Roast Bicycle Tour on Sunday, August 31.  We desperately need more volunteers to help with this event.  Please contact Don Kovalchik - W8DPK at w8dpk@mcarcoh.org if you are able to participate.
